In the afternoon, we spent some time learning about our mission for tomorrow. More on that in tomorrow's blog! Our team was divided in smaller teams on a scavenger hunt around the Rocket Center. Here are some highlights from our photo shoot. Be prepared for ridiculousness...
Astronauts in a space suit
Space Camp Logo
Astronaut Signature
Part of the 1st US Space Station
Robotic Arm (on the tiny model)
Model Rocket
200 year old flying machine
Part of an engine that flew in space
Tiny rocket... well it is smaller than the real thing!
We found a really small one about a minute later.
Something that was on the moon, a moon rock.
Yellow submarine?
From the Gemini missions.
Something a rocket scientist once owned.
Something from the Mercury missions.
This is NOT micro-gravity. Whoops!
Military rockets and other rockets in Rocket Park.
I wasn't really sure about this one?!
Not sure about this either?!
Construction!
ROBOTS!
This is actually 2... Yoda on the left is something from a galaxy far, far away and the space man is 'hanging around'.
NASA's official soft drink.
Two people from the same state.
It was a lot of fun and we got 27 of the 36 items. Not bad! We had the most of any of the other teams. Only one more thing left for the day. But, it deserves a blog entry all alone.
Kelly & Tackett...
Over and out!
