Day 1: The Infamous Flightsuits!

We're not going to lie...one of the biggest perks of going to Space Camp was knowing we would get our very own flightsuits! On our second night, after designing our team mission patch, we finally got our hands on the most coveted space camp swag of all...

Our Team Zarya leader Katie called each of our names as she played, "Eye of the Tiger" to set the tone. (We wanted the Top Gun theme but Team Unity beat us to it). It was all very dramatic and fabulous.

The highlight of the event, besides getting our suits, was when we thought Katie called Missy's name, only to discover she had called another team member. We all got a good laugh as Missy sadly had to sit back down and wait for her name to be called. :-)
